I’m interested in real estate investing so I’m trying to learn as much as I can. Most books are US focused which makes it difficult to implement strategies. I bought this one because it has a Canadian focus. It has some great tips but the writing is pretty bad. There is a lot of repetitive stuff and stories repeat. It would have been really great if it was half the size.
If you ignore the add fluff, there is some great information that I’m sure I’ll use. The tips on what to look for in a perfect investment property and the value of becoming an expert of a small focused area. The share stories where things did not work out and how they could have avoided them. She provides a ton of tips on dealing with tenants and property management companies. I learned a few things so I give it a thumbs up.
