by NHL seasons are long and unpredictable. Every year there are players that come out of nowhere and stars who fall from grace. Here are a few fun predictions for the upcoming season.
Sane
- Max Pacioretty scores 30 goals. He does it ever year and gets criticized for not doing enough. He will do it again.
Insane
- Max Pacioretty scores 50 goals (or at least wins Rocket Richard trophy). With Drouin playing centre, who knows if magic will happen. It would be insane but not impossible.
Sane
- Jonathan Drouin scores 55 points and plays pretty much to expectations.
Insane
- Drouin scores 70 plus points on his way to a career year.
Sane
- Shea Weber injures a teammate with his shot. This is almost a given, it’s just how many.
Insane
- Weber doesn’t even break 30 points. This would sure to get people talking.
Sane
- Habs make minor acquisition for a top 9 forward within first few months of season and everyone hates it.
Insane
- Habs make huge splash and acquire Nathan Mackinnon in a blockbuster which includes Galchenyuk+.
Sane
Habs win division but lose in the second round. Lack of scoring ends up being there downfall.
Insane
Habs win the Cup! Led by Galchenyuk and Drouin. This would be insane to say the least.
