Loved this book. Gladwell breaks down how things happen for completely different reasons than what you thought. What you thought was because of hard work and effort, was merely luck or coincidence. He uses a lot of known examples and explains that it happen because they were in the right place at the right time. He also discusses the ten thousand hour rule and that people are only experts because they had the opportunity to put in the required time to be an expert. Gladwell is Canadian, so his hockey examples were perfect for me. He talked about draft picks and when they were born. He confirmed that most NHL players were born at the begging of the year. He then went on to explain why. One I’ll read again.
