SCOUTING REPORT:

TESINK IS A HOMEGROWN TALENT AND ONE OF THE LESSER KNOWN SEA DOGS THAT SHOULD BE DRAFTED THIS YEAR. HE IS A GREAT SKATER WITH GOOD SPEED AND PROVIDES ENERGY ON EVERY SHIFT.

HE IS A SMART PLAYER WHO BACKCHECKS HARD AND IS NOT AFRAID TO MUCK IT IF PROVOKED. HE HAS A GREAT CYCLE GAME, GOOD VISION AND PLAYS HARD AT BOTH ENDS OF THE RINK.

HE HAS AN ACCURATE BUT WEAK SHOT AND HIS PASSES CAN BE SOFT AT TIMES. HE HAD A GOOD START TO THE YEAR BUT SLOWED TOWARDS THE END AND SHOULD CONTINUE TO IMPROVE AS HE PHYSICALLY MATURES. HE GETS THROWN AROUND BY BIGGER PLAYERS BUT RARELY MISSES A BEAT.

HE HAD A DECENT ROOKIE YEAR WITH LIMITED ICE TIME ON A STACKED SAINT JOHN TEAM SO I EXPECT BIGGER THINGS NEXT SEASON. MY GUESS WOULD TESINK BEING PICKED IN THE MIDDLE ROUNDS OF THE NHL DRAFT.

NHL POTENTIAL:

BOTTOM SIX DEPTH FORWARD

PLAYER COMPARISON:

POOR MANS JONATHAN TOEWS WITHOUT THE OFFENCE
