I’ve been a Tim Ferris fan for a few years now. I can’t remember if I read the 4-hour work week first or if it was the podcast that made me a fan. Anyways, it doesn’t matter, Tim’s stuff is great. I listened to a lot of the podcasts Tim did with these “titans” but even hearing a lot of the wisdom again was great. Tim does a great job of describing how this book should be used up front. It’s not a typical book but more of a reference to ideas and suggestions of the top minds in the world. It’s likely something you will go back to from time to time, I know I will. Tim’s guest are always listing their favorite books and he compiles a master list at the end of the book which is amazing. Same with documentaries.
I used a small black dot of a Sharpie to make not of interesting parts I would like to review again. That way, I don’t have to spend time looking for specifics things, I can review the best of based on what I thought. This was the first book of 2017 and it was a long one. It’s huge and more the size of a dictionary than a book. It took me a good four weeks to read it but I had major gaps in reading. I highly recommend.
